Does anyone else notice trends in the Church today that is hard to reconcile with Biblical teachings, or is it just me imagining things? If so, what are you noticing? :)

The forum is really the most exciting place on the site to interact with each other, exchanging questions, ideas, thoughts, personal opinions, or like me sometimes, just ranting and saying what's on your mind! Just be yourself, and be kind to others is all I ask. This is really what we need. The internet, as vast and powerful as it is, is really a desolate place. Sites like Facebook etc. are popular because they promote all the " we're all family and friends, let's keep in touch" gimmicks so they can sell advertising, which is how they make their billions. They tell their clients, "see, look how many people go here or go there, you're advertising reach will be massive!" They inflate numbers through games and gimmics, but it's mostly all smoke and mirrors, yet sucker companies fall for it. But the reality is really different. You can have hundreds on your friends list, and you can keep in touch with people you know, but how much really do they interact with you or me? Not much when you think about it. I have people on my friends list that have never even spoken to me or sent a message. Hmm, that's craziness. Maybe Facebook should have a forum? Oh well, the point of this is to welcome you, so welcome! Please feel free to post, and also I am always open to ideas and suggestions, just let me know. My only rule (so far) is just use wisdom and kindness and be respectful. Let The Lord guide you in your thinking and posting. While the world's outlook may not be so great, our "uplook" is awesome!
